The sounds of gagging filled the lair. The turtles and Starry crowded around an ill Tori lying on the couch. “Tori,” Starry whispered, trying not to aggravate her headache anymore. “Feeling any better?” she asked.

Tori could barely muster up the strength to shake her head. Even moving in the slightest bit made her feel nauseous.

Donnie pulled the blanket over Tori and tucked her into the couch. “Move back, guys, don’t crowd her.” He pushed his brother and sister away. He rummaged through his first aid kit looking for something that might ease her nausea.

Tori caught on to Donnie’s efforts, “Don’t waste your time, Donnie. I’m not going to take anything. I just need to sleep it off.” She protested weakly.

“But, Tori, if you take something, you will feel better quicker.” Leo added.

“I already said no, and there’s nothing you can do to change my mind.” She slowly, yet aggressively turned facing the inside of the couch.

Raph rolled his eyes. She could be so stubborn sometimes. “Fine, Tori. If you wanna stay sick ad miserable, be our guest.” He led the rest of them away from the couch. All with the exception of Starry, who stayed by Tori’s side while she slept. Starry knew that the medicine would be good for her, but she also knew Tori would never admit to needing it.

Meanwhile, in the dojo, the turtles were practicing their ninjutsu skills when they heard the sounds of vomiting again. They dropped their weapons and ran into the living room. Starry was doing everything she could to try to comfort her sister, but it seemed to be no use. She constantly asked Tori if she needed anything. But Tori’s answer was always no.

Starry wanted to be useful, so she went and found the turtles in the dojo, sitting on the sidelines until they were done their training. Mikey looked over to her while he was sparing with Leo. He saw her shake her head sadly. He understood what that meant. Tori was still being difficult. Even he knew that she should take something, for the nausea at least.

After their training session, they all relocated back to the couch where Tori lay asleep. “Well, that’s good at least. She’s sleeping, maybe she’ll sleep the fever off.” Donnie sighed in relief, plopping onto the ground beside her.

Leo rolled his eyes, “Yeah, but I still think she needs to take some medicine or something. It will help her get better faster.” He too, sat down on the ground.

“Big deal,” Raph protested, “If she wants to stay sick, then so be it. She’ll see it our way after a few days.”

Starry scoffed, “A few days. Are you kidding! I can’t stand seeing her like this. What’s wrong with you guys?” She sat beside Tori, “We’ve gotta try to get her to take that medicine.” She sighed, pressing her hand against Tori’s forehead.

“Hey dudes and dudette! I just had the best idea ever!” Mikey added, “What if we get her to take the medicine by putting it on her pizza!”

“Are you an idiot, she can’t keep anything down! Especially not pizza.” Raph argued. “She might even throw up at the sight of it.”

“Maybe so, but I think Mikey might be on to something.” Donnie put two fingers to his chin, “Maybe we could put it in something she drinks.” He smiled. “She should probably drink some juice to build up her Vitamin C. Like orange juice.”

“I think we have some,” Starry cheered.

“Okay, guys. When Tori wakes up, we need to get some juice into her. Hopefully she’ll keep it down.” Leo adds.

They all continue to sit around and chatter until they notice Tori start to stir. All eyes moved to Tori as she opened her eyes to reveal five watchful gazes. She coughed, “Have you guys just been staring at me this whole time?” She turned onto her side, “Because that’s kinda creeping me out.”

“How do you feel?” Leo asked.

“Better, I guess.” She admitted, “I think that nap really helped kick some of this flu thing.” She smiled.

“You think you can try drinking something?” Starry asked her, setting her hand on Tori’s shoulder.

Tori thought for a minute. She didn’t feel any discomfort in her stomach anymore, and she was rather thirsty. “Yeah, I could go for a drink.” She nodded her head.

“Is orange juice good?” Mikey asked, getting up to go to the kitchen. When Tori nodded her head, Mikey bolted into the kitchen. He went into the fridge and grabbed the juice. He poured some into a glass and proceeded to grind up and stir in the medicine that she was supposed to take. He rushed it back out to the living room and handed her the glass. “Here you go, a cold glass of orange juice.”

Tori took the glass and took a sip. She swallowed and waited for a while to see how her stomach would react to the juice. After a few minutes of waiting, she decided to take another sip. The juice did not seem to be disagree with her, so she drank the entire glass. She set the glass down beside her and looked to her siblings. They all had smirks on their faces. “Is there something I don’t know about?” Tori asked looking at them all dumbfounded.

“No, we’re cool.” Donnie smiled. “So what do you guys want to do?” After several minutes of shooting around ideas, they all decided to just pop a movie into the TV and end the day relaxing with a comical film.

Tori started to doze off in the middle of the film. When the others started to notice, they turned the movie off and retreated to their bedrooms for the evenings. Starry, however, decided to sleep outside with Tori on the couch so she could be close if she had another one of her coughing fits or something. Starry snuggled up into a ball on the other end of the couch and pulled some blanket over her feet.

She watched Tori intently, until she started to get tired herself. She began to doze when she heard Tori shift on the other side of the couch. “Starry,” Tori muttered under her breath.

“Yeah?” Starry replied.

“I know I don’t say this a lot, but thanks for taking care of me.” Tori could barely finish her sentence before she started to fall asleep again.

Starry smirked. Tori had never really been the affectionate type. “That’s what sisters are for.” She closed her eyes and started to fall back to sleep.

The next morning, the turtles exited their bedrooms and walked straight to the living room couch where Tori and Starry were still asleep. They let them rest, going over to the kitchen to get started on breakfast. They had already begun eating when Tori and Starry groggily walked into the kitchen. “Morning sleepyheads. You hungry?” Mikey asked, motioning to the table setting for two more.

Starry and Tori took their seats at the table and made their plates. “How are you feeling, Tori?” Leo asked.

“A lot better, actually. I think all that sleeping yesterday really kicked it out.” She took a bite of her food. “And you see, I told you I didn’t need any of that medicine junk.” She stuck her tongue out in spite.

The rest of the table tried to stifle their laughter. “Yep, you sure told us?” Raph rolled his eyes. Tori looked around the table in the confusion as they all continued eating their breakfast.
This is a long overdue request for :iconninjaturtleicepelt:NinjaTurtleIcepelt She asked for a story about her OC's and the turtles, on of her OC's having the flu and all the others taking care of her. It was supposed to be done back in October, but I got very sidetracked. But I finally got around to finishing it and posting it. Enjoy!

Ha! I love it! If only Alex, my OC and another one of Tori's brothers, were in it. :D
